The perfect Saturday...in pictures and Pulitzer Prizes

Saturday was practically perfect in every way. We drove home from a great Thanksgiving in NYC in this
The kids did a lot of this
(imagine picture of them sleeping in their car seats...I didn't have my camera on me)

These guys
beat these guys
In overtime!!!

And for an early birthday present Chad took me to go see this guy

Joshua Bell was fabulous!!!

Seriously, he is awesome. I remember swooning over him with my violin friends when I was in Jr. high and High school. I think I have gotten his autograph 3 times. Even though I no longer swoon over Mr. Bell, I still LOVE Love love hearing him perform. I haven't been to the symphony in over two years and the Boston Symphony was amazing. I am always amazed at the beauty that people can create in a Symphony and the BSO did not disappoint. Joshua Bell was flawless, inspiring, and really the performance was just plain thrilling. I loved it! And Chad (who gets the best husband of the year award for pausing the BYU-UTAH game at half time to take me to the concert) also really enjoyed it. I think Bell's encore performance of a virtuoso rendition of Yankee Doodle sealed the deal. All in all it was a practically perfect Saturday.

And now for the Pullitzer Prize. This is so worth the 15 minutes it takes to read/view so do what you've got to do to check out this Pullitzer Prize winning article about Joshua Bell's perfomance in a Subway station. Click HERE. It's awesome. Thanks Chad (and Bronco) for the great day!
