"Be Strong"
Joshua 1:9 "Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest."
I LOVE it. It has been a great theme and it has been wonderful to talk about it with the Young Women throughout the year. Have I ever mentioned how amazing the Young Women that I work with are? We have a "strong and courageous" jar that we keep at the church and each week the young women have the opportunity to share an experience they had during the week where they showed courage in their decisions, actions...anything. The courage of these YW amidst a crazy crazy world amazes me.
Anyway- this has all been on my mind because we have a big Young Women event coming up and we are singing the song from this year's theme and it gives me chills every time I listen to it. Here's a link to the video our church made of the song, So awesome.
