We often call Saturday "Daddy Saturday" becuase the kids love that Chad doesn't have to go to work...but most often Daddy Saturdays are less than fabulous bonding experiences...partly because Chad often has to work from home on Saturdays and partly due to poor or actually LACK of planning on the parental end. So a week ago I decided that we were going to make plans for a fun day with Chad and if he ended up having to work...then well at least we had a plan. We planned to go apple picking and it turned out that luck was on our side...Chad didn't have to work and it was a gorgeous fall day!

The "Honeycrisp" apples were by far my favorite! They were beyond delicious.
