The day we blessed Grant Richard and Grace Lindsay was wonderful. Thanks to so many family and friends April 21st was pretty much a perfect day.
Gracie was blessed in the same dress that I wore when I was a baby. It is also the same dress that was worn by my older sister Anne (whose name means Grace), Marian and Lucy when they were blessed.

Grant was adorable in his new knit blessing outfit. (Thank you Anne for going shopping for me!!!!!) Jack was blessed when he was only 3 weeks old...we waited to bless Grant and Grace until they were 4 and half months old. There was NO WAY chubby Grant was going to fit in Jack's little outfit!
Chad gave both babies beautiful blessings. I love the image of a new baby being surrounded by strong men who love them. Their father, grandfathers, uncles, and family friends join together to hold the baby in their arms as they pray to Heavenly Father, asking Him to bless the baby. It is a beautiful reminder to me that we are blessed to come to earth in families. We are meant to be surrounded and supported by those who love us and care for us.
I am so grateful for the chance I have to be a part of the family the surrounds and LOVES these precious little babies.
