I had to document today because the first day of school is the day that my kids lay out their clothes...
and pack their lunches the night before.
Their backpacks are packed, hair is done, teeth are brushed and the they are ready for school LONG before they actually need to leave.
It is bound to be the ONLY day where all five kids will do that on the same day. I'd bet my life on it. It is also likely to be the only day that I get up early to have breakfast hot and ready for them as well so yeah...the 1st day of school is a pretty big day for us and we nailed it.
No promises for tomorrow... or any day following but at least we got off to a good start!
Rosie and I miss them already.
