Night on the town

Last week I implemented a new family tradition. "Fun Family Fridays" or the triple F as I think it should be called. The weather is getting awesome and we live so close to so many interesting places that I thought I need to do a better job of taking advantage of that. And it's way to bribe the kids to get the jobs done during the week. You know, work hard so we can play hard kind of an idea...do you think that kind of reasoning works on 2 year olds? I don't either but it's a nice idea anyway.

So, back to FFF- I invited my friend Jamie to head downtown with me and enjoy the Esplanade (the gorgeous park area along the Charles River). On the way there I was thinking, "why don't I do this more often?" but when the traffic got a little crazy it became obvious to me that there was a Red Sox game AND a Celtics game that night- I remembered why I don't drive into town that often...but I am not going to be deterred. I actually found a great parking spot and loaded up the kids in my friend Jamie's awesome double jogger and walked along the river to the park. It was a gorgeous night. I didn't have my camera but Jamie did. She doesn't have just any camera...she has an AMAZING camera. I tried to copy the pictures from her blog to my blog but they came out weird so here is a link to her post about our fun night. Here's to more FFF.
