My kids frequently ask me who my "favorite" is and I have started telling them the truth.
It's Chad. He is my favorite person on earth. He makes everything more fun. He loves me. He knows the good the bad and the ugly about me and loves me wholeheartedly through it all.
He went with me to the Ballet last month and didn't complain. Even though I did...it was a little too modern for me and I REALLY like modern ballet. With all the Covid restrictions Chad and I couldn't even sit with each other (some people could it just depened on which tickets were available). I'm all for the audience being super careful and social distanced but when the dancers came on stage wearing masks I thought, "seriously?!! these poor dancers". Football players don't wear masks during games but ballet dancers do? BOO Covid!
Anyway, back to Chad.
He looks like Lin Manuel Miranda....you see it right?
We escaped up to the mountains at Sundance a few weeks ago. It was so nice to have time together to talk and talk and talk as we hiked to Stewart Falls and ate delicious food all weekend.
p.s. I love Chad, but that hat...the one with the giant cougar? I tease him every time he wears it. I think my mom gave it too him so it's hard to be too annoyed about it.
