"GRAND"- Parents

Having my mom and then Chad's parents come out was such a special time...and such a blessing for me! Chad and I have barely managed to do it on our own the past few days. And Chad goes back to work on Tuesday so...let the adventure begin!

Here are some pictures of the "super grandparents" who saved the day while they were here.

Coloring Easter Eggs with Grandma Shari...followed by an Easter egg hunt in the back yard!

It was so much fun that apparently they re-hid the eggs just so Jack could find them again...and again...and again. I say apparently because I was of course sleeping at the time...as I did almost all of my mom's stay. Mom...I sure hope I woke up often enough to tell you thank you for all you did so that I could sleep!
Jack especially loved having Grandma Shari as his personal playmate. Saying goodbye was not easy...

I looked about the same as Jack at that point! I was just beginning to come out of the "New baby fog" when my mom left so it almost felt as if I dreamed her actually being here...if so it was one really good dream! Thank you so much for all you did mom!

Grandma Linda and Grandpa Evan came to the rescue a few days later.
They took the kids hiking...

Trimmed Lucy's hair so Chad wouldn't be tempted to use the clippers on her like he did to our previous little girl!!!! (Maybe that's why Marian has such fabulous hair now...)

Seriously, look at that little girls hair!

There would probably be more pictures of Evan if he would have ever held still. He was busy
  1. fixing the rust on the hood of our car
  2. chasing Jack
  3. spray painting the bookcase for the nursery
  4. being chased by Jack
  5. fixing the wobbly toilet
  6. fixing the leaky kitchen sink
  7. chasing Jack
  8. fixing the broken fridge shelf
  9. checking to see if the fireplace flu was broken
  10. fixing the CD burner on my computer
  11. being chased by Jack
I'm sure I missed something!

Thank you so much Evan and Linda for taking such good care of us!

In short...Mom, Evan, Linda.....
COME BACK!!!
how are we going to survive without you?
